The Guangzhou Eighth People’s Hospital set up special rooms for the candidates and installed high-definition surveillance cameras for invigilators to monitor the exam from a designated area. Covid-19 prevention measures were also put in place for some 54,900 other students sitting for the test at regular exam centres in the city.
