A photographer has given nearly 3,000 left behind elderly people free funerary portraits since 2017. Yang Xin and her volunteer team have been visiting villagers in rural areas in Shaanxi province and giving them free daily necessities. While bringing warmth and happiness to the villagers, Yang thinks it is a healing process to her and has changed her attitude towards death.
