Chinese navy conducts underwater anti-mine warfare drill

CGTN published this video item, entitled “Chinese navy conducts underwater anti-mine warfare drill” – below is their description.

A naval base of the Southern Theater Command of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy (#PLAN) recently conducted an underwater anti-mine warfare #exercise. Multiple minesweepers and minehunter ships were put to the test against underwater mines planted to block a water passage. The mines could detonate under magnetic or acoustic influences from the vessels. The #drill involved rapidly removing these mines and clearing the way. Mines were successfully removed, allowing the navy fleet to pass safely.
