The Asia-Pacific is a dynamic region that shows remarkable resilience with post-pandemic recovery. APEC member economies make up 38 percent of the global population and more than 60 percent of the world’s GDP. China and Thailand are two significant emerging economies in this region. This year marks the 10th anniversary of a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries. And China has been Thailand’s largest trading partner for years. Now, construction of the China-Thailand high-speed railway is underway. On the sidelines of this year’s APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting in Bangkok, CGTN anchor Tian Wei talked to Piyadit Chai Atsavasirisuk, an active figure from the Thai business community. His company is also playing a major role in building the China-Thailand high-speed railway.
