China’s Foreign Minister is praising his country’s relationship with the European Union. Wang Yi described it as strong during a meeting with 27 European ambassadors in Beijing. He says China and the EU have been actively cooperating during the pandemic and have been coordinating on issues ranging from economic recovery to climate change. Wang called for the two sides to strengthen communication and build trust in order to create a more stable world. This year marks the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and the EU.
