The first international passenger flight in eight months to be cleared for take-off from Tianhe International Airport in the central Chinese city of Wuhan departed on September 16, 2020. The jet bound for Seoul was on the first non-domestic route to resume operations since pandemic travel restrictions were imposed after the coronavirus was first detected in the city in early 2020.
