For more:
A 35-year-old acrobat named Zhang Guocheng wrote calligraphy while balancing on a pole in Mianyang City, southwest China’s Sichuan Province, on September 8. With one hand placed on the 1.5-meter-tall pole, Zhang used his other hand to hold a brush and wrote the Chinese character “Qin.” Learning martial arts and acrobatics at the age of 6, Zhang created “high-altitude calligraphy,” which combines Tai Chi, martial arts and calligraphy.
