    China’s #Taiwan region on Saturday reported over 700 locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, of which 400 stemmed from a backlog in reporting confirmed test results, according to authorities. This is the eighth consecutive day that the island region reported over 100 daily new local cases. Taiwan is facing its worst outbreak since the start of the #pandemic as 14 of its hospitals have seen locally transmitted cases, with five of them reporting cluster infections. #Coronavirus
