China’s ice hockey athletes have been busy preparing ahead of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games 2022 in February. As part of the training, the Chinese team members have been playing in Russia’s top league, the Kontinental Hockey League to strengthen their competitiveness and hone their skills. Currently ranked 32 globally, the Chinese men’s ice hockey team is expected to face stiff competition against world-leading teams from Canada, the US and Germany.
