South China Morning Post published this video item, entitled “China’s endangered Tibetan antelopes start annual migration home after giving birth” – below is their description.
Thousands of rare Tibetan antelopes are heading home in China’s northwest Qinghai province. The antelopes in early May travelled to Zhuonai through Lake Sanjiangyuan National Park in the Yushu Tibetan autonomous prefecture to give birth. They now begin a dangerous 400km (250 miles) trek back home with their newborn calves. According to Chinese state media, conservation measures have helped the once endangered animal make a dramatic comeback in recent decades.
