China watches US election closely for Trump or Biden win

Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “China watches US election closely for Trump or Biden win” – below is their description.

Chinese leaders are watching the US election closely as ties between the superpowers have severely worsened because of President Donald Trump declaring a trade war on China. Under Trump, divisions have deepened over trade and technology and the threat of military conflict has grown. The UN says the world is becoming increasingly defined by the “great fracture” between China and the US. Al Jazeera’s Katrina Yu reports from Beijing, China. And to discuss this we have Laurel Miller in Washington, DC. She is the Asia director at the International Crisis Group and she served as the US special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan under former President Barack Obama. James Carafano is also in Washington, DC and he is the vice president of the Kathryn and Shelby Cullom Davis Institute for National Security and Foreign Policy at the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think-tank. In Doha, we have our Senior Political Analyst Marwan Bishara. –
