    For more: Chinese Vice President Wang Qishan has stressed the importance of innovation in driving economic growth. In a speech by video link at the Bund Summit in Shanghai, he said China needed to confront risks in a changing global financial environment. The governor of China’s central bank, Yi Gang, also addressed the summit, saying China would make its currency more flexible and reduce restrictions on its cross-border use. Yi said this would help open up China’s financial services industry.
