    It was this week, one year ago, that the world started becoming aware of the seriousness of a viral outbreak which would explode into a full-blown global pandemic.

    Wuhan, in China, was the first place to go into lockdown.

    Al Jazeera’s Investigative Unit has obtained videos recorded during the earliest days – which were smuggled out of the country.
