China sends one million surgical masks, gloves to France

China has sent one million surgical masks and gloves to France to help the EU nation deal with the crisis. The French Foreign Ministry said the supplies arrived in Paris on Wednesday. France provided China with some 17 tons of equipment after the virus broke out in central China’s Wuhan. The Chinese ambassador to France said messages of support have been printed on the cartons of supplies, with the words “united we will win” – a popular phrase by the French poet Victor Hugo.
