The 37th escort task force of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Navy set sail for the Gulf of Aden and waters off Somalia from Sanya City of south China’s Hainan Province on Saturday, in rotation of escort missions.

The 37th PLA Navy fleet, composed of the guided-missile destroyer Changsha, guided-missile frigate Yulin, and comprehensive supply ship Honghu, set sail from a military port in Sanya to take over the escort mission from the 36th escort task force in the Gulf of Aden and waters off Somalia.
