China reiterates calls for peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula

As tensions rise between the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea’s (DPRK) and the Republic of Korea (ROK), China says it hopes for peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula. The remarks were made by Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian at a press conference in Beijing.
