    The Chinese government has dismissed criticism surrounding a fake image it posed on Twitter showing an Australian soldier murdering a young child, instead calling on Australia to apologise to the Afghan people in the wake of a report into war crimes. Professor of International Politics at Birmingham University, Scott Lucas, says the last thing Canberra should do is engage in a tit-for-tat with Beijing.
