Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said relations with Malaysia have been a role model for regional cooperation among ASEAN countries. He made the remark in a meeting with his Malaysian counterpart Saifuddin Abdullah on Saturday. Saifuddin praised China’s leading role in the global fight against the pandemic and pledged to boost bilateral cooperation in developing COVID-19 vaccines and drugs. The two sides also agreed to strengthen cooperation in the Belt and Road Initiative.
