South China Morning Post published this video item, entitled “China-made bullet train in Indonesia overruns budget by up to US$2 billion” – below is their description.
A China-funded high-speed rail project in Indonesia is on track to launch in 2023, despite being over-budget by up to US$2 billion, according to the construction consortium PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) on October 13, 2022. China, however, estimated the budget overrun to be less than US$1 billion, a discrepancy that KCIC has admitted needs resolving.
