China lab rejects COVID-19 conspiracy claims

The World Health Organization says all available evidence suggests the coronavirus originated from an animal, despite claims it was manufactured in a laboratory in Wuhan. Earlier, the head of the lab told Reuters there was no conclusive answer as to where the disease started. The director of National Biosafety Laboratory said that The Wuhan Institute of Virology did not have either the intention or the ability to design and construct a new coronavirus. He added there is no information within the coronavirus genome to indicate it was man-made.
