The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games will be held without overseas spectators, the International Olympic Committee announced on September 29, 2021. Organisers in Beijing are planning to stage the second Games held during the Covid-19 pandemic with more stringent measures than in Tokyo, including a closed bubble, vaccine requirements and daily testing. The 2022 Beijing Winter Games are scheduled to run from February 4-20, and will be the second Olympic Games to be held in Beijing.
