Indonesia’s traffic congestion has long been a problem that has plagued urban areas. Its capital city, Jakarta, is among the worst cities in the world for traffic jams. But the country has looked to China for solutions and relief. A 143-kilometer-long high-speed railway, constructed by a consortium of Indonesian and Chinese state-owned companies, is expected to ease pressure on Indonesia’s roads and cut travel time significantly. CGTN’s correspondent Dusita Saokaew reports.
