The Chinese mainland has demanded a Taiwan-based airline close loopholes in its passenger screening system to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The State Council’s Taiwan Affairs Office expressed concern on Friday after a passenger who tested positive for COVID-19 was able to board a UNI Air flight on Monday.
