China has accused the United States of what it calls “coercion diplomacy” in a global campaign to exclude Chinese telecom firm Huawei from the 5G network construction. The Chinese Foreign Ministry made the comment on Monday in response to a Swedish newspaper report over a Huawei ban in the Scandinavian country. Local operators have been ordered to withdraw equipment by Chinese companies from the existing 5G infrastructure by January 2025.
