During a discussion at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Tuesday, China’s special envoy for climate change affairs Xie Zhenhua outlined a number of actions China has taken during the past few years to speed up its green transition. Xie also stated that the world should not abandon the Paris Agreement on climate change. Xie and his U.S. counterpart John Kerry stressed the importance of cooperation on this issue by the world’s two largest economies.
