After a marathon 87 days in lockdown together, Sydney families are enjoying some relief tonight with ‘friend bubbles’ allowing children to visit each other. A snap lockdown is back in force in Byron Bay, and the border bubble with Queensland has burst. Case numbers are back over 1,000 – but still down on recent weeks – and 10 more people have died.
