A French court is set to hear a case against more than a dozen multinationals for selling famous Agent Orange to the US government during the Vietnam War. The powerful chemical was sprayed by the US forces over the Asian country in the 60s to destroy vegetation. It contains dioxin and it’s one of the most toxic chemicals known to man, being linked to increased rates of cancers and birth defects. The case was filed by a French-Vietnamese civil and could set a legal precedent.
