Long lines have formed outside Centrelink branches across the country as people lose their jons and seek help from the Government. At midday, businesses including pubs, clubs, cinemas and gyms closed indefinitely, while restaurants and cafes became takeaway only. With schools in ACT and Victoria shut down, and the sharemarket losing another $100 billion, in the words of the Prime Minister: form any Australians this will be the toughest year of their lives.
