Chaos as tear gas sprayed ahead of Real Madrid Liverpool Champions League final

Daily Mail published this video item, entitled “Chaos as tear gas sprayed ahead of Real Madrid Liverpool Champions League final” – below is their description.

Chaos as tear gas sprayed ahead of Real Madrid Liverpool Champions League final. UEFA released a statement suggesting thousands of Liverpool fans were duped by fake ticket sellers and had got caught up in the turnstiles entering the Stade de France, Paris on Saturday. The governing body later called for an inquiry from French officials into the use of teargas on fans in the French capital, as reports also suggested riot police had attacked Liverpool supporters watching the game from a dedicated fan zone in Place de La Nation. Scores of heavily armed officers were filmed hitting those who had gathered there, with a chilling video showing women among the victims of the police violence, which seemed to be unprovoked. Ex-England star Gary Lineker led the condemnation of the chaotic scenes as he offered a scathing assessment of the security situation at the Stade de France ahead of the delayed UEFA Champions League final.
