Canada’s Snowbirds aerobatic jet crashed in the town of Kamloops during a flyover dedicated to the pandemic. Sunday’s crash left 1 crew member killed and another seriously injured.
Debris was scattered across the neighborhood near the airport in Kamloops, 418 kilometers northeast of Vancouver, British Columbia.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he was “deeply saddened” by the death of Capt. Jennifer Casey who was also the Snowbirds’ spokesperson.
