Canadian singer/songwriter Martha Wainwright has been making music since she was a kid. It’s not like she had a choice; born into a dynastic musical family, there was no way she was ever going to be a lawyer or an I.T. consultant. Late last year she released her fifth studio album, ‘Goodnight City’, and before kicking off her national tour she sat down with Lindsay McDougal to chat about trash-talking lyrics, and getting the guy who wrote ‘The English Patient’ to work on her album.
