The Canadian military watchdog is investigating whether there was a deliberate attempt by military police to cover up one officer’s alleged misconduct.
Chairperson Hilary McCormack decided on Aug. 3 to launch an investigation into complaints received by her office over the handling of an incident involving an alleged intoxicated military police member and her children in March 2021.
Former members say the incident is yet another example about how broken the military justice system is.
