Many places around the world are currently experiencing high #inflation, and the pressure on ordinary people’s lives caused by soaring prices is rising sharply. Atif Kubursi, a leading #Canadian economist, believes that an important reason for the high inflation is that #globalization has been severely damaged in recent years.

For the past 40 years, Kubursi has been working on international economic and trade developments from the perspective of globalization. In his opinion, the main factors leading to the current round of inflation are the COVID-19 epidemic, soaring international energy prices and high U.S. tariffs.
