Canada reels from damage after heavy floods

Floodwaters are expected to start receding after a week of devastating floods in Canada’s Quebec province.

Hundreds were forced to evacuate and thousands of homes have been damaged.

Just under 2,000 soldiers are helping local rescue and relief efforts.

Al Jazeera’s Daniel Lak reports from Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, near Montreal.
