A funeral has been held at a Roman catholic church in the Occupied East Jerusalem for veteran Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh.
She was killed by Israeli forces on Wednesday.
Shireen’s grave lies next to her parents’ in a cemetery near Jerusalem’s Old City.
She was shot in the head in the Occupied West Bank while covering raids by Israeli soldiers in Jenin.
But before the funeral sevice, Israeli forces attacked mourners carrying her body.
As she’s laid to rest, how can Palestinians use her death to highlight Israel’s crimes?
