Calgary “miracle cat” missing for 2 years returns home

Global News published this video item, entitled “Calgary “miracle cat” missing for 2 years returns home” – below is their description.

A Calgary woman has been reunited with her long-lost cat after it went missing in 2020, leading to a search both in her neighbourhood and online without much luck.

Wendy Syvret’s cat went missing in September 2020 when she got out through a gap in her fence, but on Sept. 2 she noticed a promising post on a Facebook page that someone had found a cat that looked like her missing feline, Epsy.

“I saw that and I thought, ‘There’s no way,'” she told Global News. “She’s been gone two years, there’s no way this is my cat.”

But as Gil Tucker reports, Wendy thanks the “angels” who have been feeding and giving Epsy shelter, allowing the pair to have the purr-fect reunion at long last.
