Calais Migrants: The children living in “The Jungle” camp

It’s long been a source of shame for Europe – and especially for Britain: the number of young unaccompanied children trapped in the Jungle refugee camp near Calais.

Just 52 children and teenagers have so far been allowed into Britain under EU regulations. Charities say that more than 200 others could qualify to be re-settled here, but few have cases in progress.
