As many as 150 hostages have been freed from a hotel in Burkina Faso’s capital, after an attack by Al Qaeda-linked fighters.
Local forces teamed up with French and US soldiers to end the siege at the luxury Splendid Hotel in Ouagadougou.
At least 23 people, mostly foreigners, were killed.
