Global News published this video item, entitled “Buffalo supermarket shooting: Residents left feeling a loss of safety in city” – below is their description.
As residents try to come to terms with the shooting that occurred at the Tops supermarket in Buffalo, N.Y. and left 10 people dead, many are sharing their thoughts on how they feel in the aftermath.
The 18-year-old white male suspect is now in custody and has been charged with first-degree murder and police have said he would be prosecuted for a hate crime.
Sean O’Shea travelled to the community and explains that because of that racially-motivated factor, there is a feeling of being targeted and some have told him they have lost their sense of safety and security in their own city.
