Brits to be bribed with shopping vouchers under Government obesity plans

Daily Mail published this video item, entitled “Brits to be bribed with shopping vouchers under Government obesity plans” – below is their description.

Brits will wear Fitbit-style smart watches to monitor exercise levels and what they ate and then dish out points which can be redeemed for vouchers or discounts on items under new anti-obesity plans. Some of the items the Government plans to offer include, discounts on cinema or theme park tickets, shopping vouchers, vouchers for clothes and food, and gym passes.

But one leading commenter has slammed the policy as a ‘waste of money’ and example of the continuing infiltration of the nanny-state into people’s lives.
