Britain by Bike: Back in Shetland, 3,427 miles later

The Telegraph published this video item, entitled “Britain by Bike: Back in Shetland, 3,427 miles later” – below is their description.

In the final instalment of his 3,427-mile bike ride around Britain, Simon Parker returns to Orkney and Shetland and finishes at the Muckle Flugga lighthouse.

Simon says: “Perhaps that’s what I love about cycle touring so much, and why it has helped me navigate the stresses of the past 18 months. There is a simple predictability to the lifestyle.

“For 11 weeks, I cycled, ate, wrote and slept. And as I contemplated my return to “’normality’ I wondered if I’d struggle to keep up.”
