Donald Trump has addressed supporters at one of three rallies in Pennsylvania, ahead of the last full week of campaigning in the election. He downplayed the scale of the coronavirus pandemic, just as the team of his own vice president Mike Pence came down with infection. Cases of COVID-19 in hospitals in Pennsylvania have surged up thirty eight percent, with some fearing his large rallies could become ‘super-spreader’ events. At least one third of ballots have now been cast, with the Democratic candidate Joe Biden continuing to lead in the national polls.
