    The Prime Minister said that while he – like everyone else – wanted to get back to normal, there would be some extra precautions to take to do that.

    Boris Johnson was speaking from the Nissan factory in Sunderland as the car maker announced huge new investment in electric cars.

    Mr Johnson said he would be setting out the details of the next steps in the next few days.

    Speaking to Sky’s Paul Kelso, the Prime Minister started by addressing the issue of continued disruption in schools.
