    NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has announced a raft of tough new restrictions, and said authorities are “extremely concerned” with the state’s newest COVID case numbers. NSW recorded 44 new cases, 29 of which were out and about in the community while infectious. Sydney COVID cases could continue to rise, resulting in an extended lockdown, and further restrictions.
