A Death Gun Salute has been fired to mark the death of Prince Philip across the UK, as well as in Gibraltar and on Her Majesty’s Ships at sea – with 41 rounds being fired at one round every minute for 40 minutes.

Buckingham Palace announced the death of the Duke of Edinburgh on 9 April.
