The UK has taken a somewhat relaxed approach to the novel coronavirus in the early stages (business as usual), before ramping up efforts latterly to a full UK-wide lockdown on Monday of this week (23 March 2020).

As can be seen, this young lady had, by then, already sadly died as a result of the virus.

Staying home will prevent the virus from spreading. Novel coronavirus can cause fatal complications, even to young people, and those without underlying health conditions.

While the statistics do point to a lower risk for these people, the risk is not nil. Avoiding spreading this infectious virus is important to all in society.

    Stay home. Save lives.
