BBC News published this video item, entitled “Brazil’s remote Amazon communities receive Covid vaccines – BBC News” – below is their description.

Brazil continues to struggle with high coronavirus infection rates and deaths. It’s one of the worst hit countries – more than 400,000 people have died.

The government is now trying to speed up its vaccination programme, following criticism that it’s been too slow.

Now communities in the remote Amazon are receiving vaccines for the first time.

Clive Myrie presents BBC News at Ten reporting from the Amazon by Mark Lowen.
