Brazil’s big cites reopen despite daily record-breaking Covid-19 deaths

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed over 32,000 lives in Brazil, as the South American country keeps recording new records of deaths everyday. Despite the alarming figures, several big cities, such as Rio de Janeiro, have started to ease lockdown measures and are reopening their economies. Brazil has over 500,000 cases, the second highest number in the World, only behind the United States.
