Protesters rallied in cities across Brazil on Saturday, calling for the impeachment of President Jair Bolsonaro over his handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

On Friday, a Supreme Court justice authorised the opening of an investigation into Bolsonaro over alleged irregularities in the procurement of COVID-19 vaccines developed in India.
