Laughter erupted in the House of Commons when the sound cut out from Boris Johnson’s live feed as he answered questions virtually from Downing Street, where he is self-isolating. The Speaker, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, called for a three-minute suspension, and Johnson could be heard saying: ‘some problem with the sound’ before the feed went silent.
